The Untamed Amazon is the very first vessel of its kind in Amazonia that uses 100% solar power generation for all electricity use. The system has 96 state-of-the-art German solar panel generators and 3 tons of Hitachi Solar Batteries – the most advanced Japanese battery system for solar power generation. The Untamed Amazon is an aggressive project that brings a unique concept to boat design that changes the game in live-aboard fishing vessel standards. PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS and CANCELLATION POLICY

It is required a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation for a cruise or charter. The booking deposit is non-refundable but can be used in the event of a passenger replacement.

Cancellations will only be confirmed upon receipt of notice by E-MAIL by the customer and, the following fees will be applied depending on the date of cancellation:
- up to 181 days from the departure date, 50% of the travel cost.
- from 180 to 91 days from the departure date, 75% of the cost of the trip.
- Less than 61 days before the departure date or no-show: 100% of the travel cost.

We strongly suggest purchasing international travel and health insurance with a trip cancellation guarantee after registering for a trip.

About Untamed

The Untamed Amazon has 3 levels. The lower floor is a restricted area for staff only, and includes the inner workings and heart of the vessel with its twin 200-horsepower propulsion engines. It also houses the laundry, staff rooms, and water filtration systems. The vessel has its own sewage treatment plant.

The main floor of the Untamed Amazon has 8 guest suites - each 18 square meters in size - 6 of which are double suites, and two of which are set up as single suites. Six suites can accommodate two guests, in super single beds and includes a private bathroom, air conditioning and plenty of open space for clothes, equipment and storage. Two suites accommodate single guests, also with private bathrooms, air-conditioning and plenty of open space for clothes, equipment and storage. The suites all feature outside-facing, ceiling-to-floor panoramic windows.

The upper level is for guests to relax, enjoy an adult beverage and re-live their days fishing adventure.

It features a spacious living and dining room, and an open lounge where drinks and appetizers are served. There are also two big Jacuzzi tubs for up to 10 guests on this floor. This 3rd level is also home to the full commercial kitchen where a trained chef and his team create sumptuous meals, as well as serving as the command and navigation center for the vessel.

Safety on board: Radio communication with separate battery pack; AIS Transponder System, Garmin Radar, Sonar and GPS, satellite phone; life jackets, fire extinguishers, flares and signals.

Untamed Amazon Crew: 14 - captain (1), crew (7), bilingue guide (1), international cuisine chef and auxiliar (2), maids (2) and hostess. (1).

100% Solar power electricity & state-of-the-art water treatment. A true feat of green engineering to guarantee that our ecological footprint is kept to the minimum.

NON-PLASTIC - The river water is treated by three filtration processes (including reverse osmosis) plus three purification processes (chlorination, UV light and ozone) and distributed pure and potable in the boat.
We eliminate plastic water bottles, and in partnership with YETI we offer excellent reusable thermal containers to our customers. The sewage are treated in biodigesters and transform the residual water that after chlorination returns cleanly to the river.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE - The cuisine aboard the Untamed Amazon is prepared by international chefs who blend Amazonian ingredients with modern techniques. To accompany our meals, we offer fine wines (stored in a temperature- controlled cellar), local favorite caipirinhas with tropical fruits, and specialty beers.

DELUXE ACCOMMODATIONS - We offer eight comfortable air conditioned suites, each with private bathrooms. Our vessels have satellite phones and panoramic windows with extraordinary views of the Amazon.
