Routes
Anavilhanas Archipelago (4 days)
The itinerary includes the highlights of the Manaus region, such as the Meeting of the Waters and a visit to an indigenous community. The boat ride along the Rio Negro to the Anavilhanas National Park - the second largest river archipelago in the world, with over 400 islands (the first is further up the Rio Negro itself, the Mariuá archipelago). Enjoy the beauty of the Anavilhanas islands and their dense forests, which give way to white sand beaches bathed by the Rio Negro during the dry season.
Includes: Meeting of the Waters, Visit to the indigenous community, Anavilhanas National Park and the Almerinda Malaquias Foundation.
Jaú National Park (5 days)
This is the ideal route for those who have little time but want to explore the remote and preserved Amazon, sailing up the Rio Negro. The Jaú National Park is one of the largest conservation units in the world, declared a World Heritage Site. With rich biodiversity and giant trees, this protected and remote place is only accessible by river expeditions. Forest trails, water trails, creeks and igapós (in the rainy season) and river beaches in the dry season are the highlights of this expedition.
Includes: Visit to the caboclo community, trails in the Madadá Caves, nighttime spotting, visit to Velho Airão and Anavilhanas National Park.
Jaú National Park Plus (6 days)
The world's largest freshwater forest park still holds enigmas to be unraveled. Due to the relatively complicated logistics of access, its trails, waterfalls and streams are little explored by tourists. Monkeys, sloths, dolphins, pacas and birds can be observed during overnight stays in the jungle, or from the river, close to sunset. In the dry season, giant otters are the highlight. Riverside communities, with genuine northern cultural manifestations, give a human touch to a region where nature still commands the show.
Anavilhanas and Jaú (7 days)
With a diverse range of wildlife and human attractions, this tour offers diving with Pink Dolphins, interaction with Tuiuka Indians and sailing through different ecosystems - from the Solimões River, with its muddy waters, to the Anavilhanas National Park, where the mirror-like waters of the Rio Negro reflect the stunning landscape. At its most distant point, we will visit the Jaú River, where the largest freshwater forest park in the world is located. Riverside communities, with genuine northern cultural expressions, give a human touch to a region where nature still commands the show.
Extrative Reserve of Jauaperi (8 days)
If, among all the attractions that the Amazon offers, your greatest desire is to contemplate wildlife, this is the itinerary for you. Despite beaches that appear during the dry season, villages with exquisite crafts and charming waterfalls, the Jauaperi River is the untouched home of some of the most stunning species of Amazonian fauna - giant otters, manatees, jabiru, coatipur, tree monkeys, huge black caimans, flocks of red toucans, solitary spotted hawks and outrageous multicolored macaws.
* Excursions subject to change due to the river levels (flooding and drought) of Amazonian Rivers.
Structure
The experience of being in a different world, surrounded by stimulus must be lived in a level higher than photos and digital memories kept in our cameras. There is a universe of new understanding about the forest reality to explore, through the lecture, argumentations, feelings and innumerable experiences lived in loco. From theatrical to the kinesthesia, we have in each expedition the mission of build the bridge between two distant worlds: the urban-contemporaneous and lost forest world. Taking our guests from one side to another of this way with safety, comfortable, leisure, good sense of humor and a lot of information. Interacting among friends with traditional culture population. Showing none of the animals of the Forest has us as a prey. Immerging in the Negro River, refreshing in its water beaches, blessed, black and at same time crystalline, inviting for a bath. Showing one Amazon very different of the Box view divulged by TV. Buying this package you will acquire more than a trip, an experience of the life for the life to keep in the memory.
Social-Ecologic Itineraries
The Wild is not the only attraction in our tours; so are the people who live in it. In their genuine cultural expressions, based on the fruits bore by the forest, we can find beauty and simplicity without equal. There is a lot to learn from this exchange with them, and it is in this exchange that
friendship bonds are formed and spontaneous moments arise, whether on a football match, during a conversation or in many other activities.
