Day by day description

1st day

Arriving in Manaus, at Eduardo Gomes international airport, use app or the taxi desk service at airport lobby for transportation to Villa Amazônia (Hotel Boutique), charming boutique hotel located in downtown area, one block from Teatro Amazonas. This transportation is not included in the package and in may costs around R$ 80,00 by cab. Free afternoon and evening to explore Manaus by yourself: Municipal market and surrounding, Mirante Lúcia Almeida, the Opera House (Opened on 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Sunday and Monday at 2:00h), museums and art galleries at Largo São Sebastião - in front of Opera House. Free night (dinner is not included).

2nd. day - WELCOME TO THE AMAZON

Departure from the pier in Manaus aboard the MV Desao at 2 pm, your floating hotel for the next three nights. Once on board, you will be offered a welcome cocktail with snacks and drinks while the guide offers information about the Amazon, the boat and program details. The guide will assist in identifying the flora/fauna, providing a historical framework that will enrich your ecological understanding of this unusual destination and part of the natural world. Start sailing towards Três Bocas, located in the Anavilhanas archipelago, the largest river archipelago in the world, with its lakes, islands, streams and flooded forests. Dinner on board. In the evening, guests can enjoy a pleasant ride in motorized canoes for local reconnaissance, an opportunity to hear the sounds of the jungle. (Meal: Dinner)

3rd. day - ANAVILLANAS ISLANDS

At 5:30 am, boat trip to admire the sunrise in the forest and the birdsong in its diversity. Return to the Boat and Breakfast In motorized canoes, walk along the river to a place with walking trails in order to observe the flora and fauna of the region. Return to the boat Lunch on board on a cruise towards the Terra Preta indigenous community, whose visit is an opportunity to get to know the lifestyle and habits of the Indians. Return on board and navigation near the village of Jaraqui. In motorized canoes, after a pleasant river expedition, we head to dry land, on an interesting trekking in the jungle to explore the fauna and flora. Return aboard. Dinner on board. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

4th. day - THE MEETING OF THE WATERS

Breakfast on board and departure to the local village of Acajatuba. On the way, stop at the floating station 'Recanto dos Botos' to interact with the pink dolphins and feed the famous Pirarucu fish, known as cod from the Amazon. Lunch on board. Departure and navigation along the Rio Negro towards the edge of the Solimões until reaching the meeting of the waters, where the rivers Negro and Solimões meet to form the great Amazon River. The cruise continues to Lake Janauari for another exhilarating experience, fishing for piranha, the dreaded fish of the Amazon. Dinner on board. After dinner, canoe ride along the streams in search of alligators and other nocturnal animals with flashlights. Return aboard. Overnight (Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

5th. day - EXPLORING THE RIVER

After another tropical breakfast, departure to see the giant and beautiful Amazonian water lilies, another opportunity to explore the Rio Negro. Return on board starting the return trip to Manaus arriving in the city at 11:00 am. (Meal: breakfast).
New entry to the Villa Amazônia hotel (check-in after 3:00 PM), free night and overnight stay (dinner not included).

6th day

Breakfast and free morning to continue to explore Manaus. 2:30 prior your flight, check-out your account and leave the hotel by app or taxi heading to the Airport (the package does not include this transport on and the average costs is R$ 80,00).

The schooner leaves Manaus, capital of the State of Amazonas, for a 4-day cruise exploring the Anavilhanas Archipelago.
Accommodation: 12 cabins: 6 upper external (with bunk beds with beds of 2m x 1.25m and 2m x 0.80m) and 6 lower internal ones (4 with bunk beds measuring 2m x 1.25m and 2m x 0.80m and 2 with twin beds measuring 1.80m x 0.80m or a double bed measuring 1.80m x 1.60m).
Private bathroom with showers and all amenities, lockers, safe, bed lighting, carpets and air conditioning. Air conditioning in the panoramic restaurant and bar plus a large sundeck with an outdoor bar.
