Day by day description
1st day
Arriving in Manaus, at Eduardo Gomes International airport, at the disembark area look you can choose a taxi or an app service to
get to Juma Ópera Hotel at downtown area.
Check-in after 2:00 PM.
Free afternoon and evening to enjoy Largo São Sebastião area or
go sightseeing at Ponta Negra walkways.
Dinner is not included, but we recomend the hotel restaurant.
2nd day
Breakfast. Remember, it is served from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM at restaurant.
Before 10 AM, do the check-out, pay extras and wait for the Mirante do Gavião guide at reception.
Transfer from Manaus to Novo Airão (200 km in 2:30 hours) in acclimatized vehicle.
Arrival, accommodation and lunch at CamuCamu Restaurant at lodge.
Guided city tour by Novo Airão in acclimatized vehicle or by bike of hotel.
Afternoon Optional tour: Diving with buoys in Negro River.
Dinner at CamuCamu.
Optional tour: Night tour in speed boats to spot night animals at Anavilhanas National Park.
3rd day
Breakfast at CamuCamu Restaurant.
-Dry Season: Soon after breakfast, departure by speedboat to visit the St. Antonio community and
Tiririca community. Interpretative Trail in equatorial forest. For lunch, Amazonian fish barbequed on
traditional home of natives. Then shift to leisure on Tiririca Beach, in the heart of the Anavilhanas
National Park. After the refreshing bath, flora and fauna appreciation of the islands, rapidly shifting to
the largest tree from Anavilhanas islands, a giant “macucu”, in raid on lowland forest and explanation
of this peculiar ecosystem.
-Flood Season: Departure by speedboat to visit the Sobrado community. Interpretative trail in
equatorial forest, visiting the biggest tree specie in the Amazon, the Samaúma. For lunch, Amazonian
fish barbequed on traditional home of natives. Then shift to the largest tree from Anavilhanas islands,
a giant macucu in Parana das Araras. In return to the hostel foray through the flood forest for flora
and fauna explanation of that ecosystem assessment.
Dinner at CamuCamu Restaurant.
4th day
- Breakfast at CamuCamu Restaurant.
- All seasons: After the breakfast, speedboat journey (1h30) for interpretive forest trail until the Madadá Caves and
their halls of stone (full day - 3 hours trekking in primary forest). In return, visit to Caboclo site with native fruits orchard.
- Flood season: Lunch at the Madadá Belvedere overlooking the Anavilhanas Archipelago. Rest and contemplation in the lookout hammocks, with bathroom and
toilet services, and visit the giant tree Tanimbuca specimen and piranhas fishing.
- Dry Season: Lunch at Caboclo’s straw house, diving in Madadá stone formations.
- Speedboat Return to the Lodge (1h30), among islands of Anavilhanas National Park.
- Dinner at CamuCamu Restaurant.
5th day
- Speedboat departure before breakfast for sunrise contemplating at Anavilhanas Archipelago.
Return for breakfast.
- Speedboat departure for freshwater beaches (dry season) or aquatic trails through flooded forest (flood season).
- In the return visit to the Pink Dolphin Floating house.
- Return at 11:00 a.m. to Lodge’s check out.
- 12:00 a.m. – courtesy lunch in Camu-Camu Restaurant, under condition of unoccupied suite.
- 1:00 p.m. - Transfer to Manaus in air-conditioned vehicle (duration 2:30 hours).
Check-in at Juma Ópera Hotel. Night free and overnight.
6th day
Breakfast and morning free to continue exploring Manaus.
Check-out AT 12:00 PM. 2:30 hours before your flight time and use app or get a taxi to the airport (not included in the package).

HOTEL JUMA ÓPERA
Juma Ópera is an upscale historic boutique hotel located in the historic center of Manaus, opposite the Teatro Amazonas,
which also stands out for its sustainable actions, with the use of solar panels for water heating and coatings that contain recyclable glass in their composition.
As well as other buildings in the historic center of the state capital, erected in the midst of the economic heyday, two mansions of Juma Ópera also resulted from the years
of local prosperity.
Listed by the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan), the main house required a meticulous restoration process.
Former US President Theodore Roosevelt visited it at the beginning of the 20th century, during his expedition to the Amazon with Marshal Rondon.
Located under an impressive dome made up of iron and glass, the Ópera Restaurant has fish, meat and hints of indigenous cuisine that complement
its varied international menu. Renowned chef Sofia Bendelak mixes contemporary dishes with elements of Amazonian cuisine.
In addition to the imposing internal structure, the restaurant also has a very pleasant terrace, ideal for regional drinks with the breathtaking view of the Teatro Amazonas logo
to the front.The Juma Ópera lobby is located in the main house and has a very pleasant seating area, with arched windows offering a touch of nostalgia to the
sophisticated contemporary decor.
The hotel's bar is located in an area between the lobby and the restaurant, serving both. It has an excellent view of the Theater. The highlight of the drinks menu
are the house cocktails, always with a local touch.
Modern, the gym is located at the top of the main house and has a surprising view of the dome of the Teatro Amazonas.
The hotel's swimming pool is located on the “rooftop”, surrounded by a glass railing that provides beautiful views of the Amazonas Theater, the Palace of Justice and the
Church of San Sebastian. On the horizon, you can even see the Rio Negro!
MIRANTE DO GAVIÃO LODGE
The architectonical project, in precious wood and totally integrated to the nature, calls the attentions in Mirante do Gavião Lodge.
It is located at Negro River riverbank at Novo Airão city 184 km from Manaus by ground. The transfers Manaus-Lodge are realized in cars with air-conditioning in 3 hours trip each way.
The structure has original design harmonizing art and nature preserved surround!
It was created by Spanish Architect Patricia O'Reilly, from Atelier O'Reilly Architecture & Partners Sustainable Strategies office, the Mirante do Gavião
is composed by 12 units and a leisure area with pool, large restaurant/bar and 3 belvederes.
Package values include:
- Land transfers in/out Manaus - Novo Airão - Manaus (180 km);
- Accommodation in the chosen category but without the possibility of booking the specific unit.
- Meals on the tours and a la carte at the Camu-Camu Restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- Check-in at 2 pm with lunch included. Check-out at 11 am (lunch not included).
- All activities described, in this way, there will be no chargeback or discount on payment if any activity cannot be performed
(whether due to guest arrival and departure times or otherwise). Activities can be modified, canceled or changed for reasons of weather conditions, safety and organization of tours by the inn.
