AMAZON TUPANA
The Amazon Tupana Lodge is a small size lodge with but charming. Its rustic Amazon architecture carefully planned to not affecting the environment provides a comfortable stay. The lodge offer facilities like reception, laundry, restaurant with regional cosine, bar, electric power 110v (The electricity is 110V supplied by diesel engine between the time 12:00h to 15:00h and 18:00h to 07:30h). The lodge is located in an area without telephone, mobile or internet signal.

Packages include:
- Regular Transfer Manaus (6:00hs~06:30h) to Amazon Tupana.
- Regular Transfer Amazon Tupana (1:30 pm) to Manaus or departure from the lodge in the morning, at 8:30 am for flights with departure from 2:30 pm/4:30 pm – this departure time is fixed and without any change.
- Full board (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) according to arrival and departure times from the lodge.
- Mineral water available at the drinking fountain.
- Programs described in the packages, accompanied by a bilingual guide (Portuguese, English, French or Spanish).

Child Policy
Due to the distance from Manaus, it does not operate with children under 4 years old.
4 to 6 years - 100% discount.
7 to 11 years - 50% discount.

New Year's Eve: Additional R$ 400 (2024) / R$ 500 (2025) per person.
The Lodge does not have Telephone/Cellular or Internet coverage.
At Reception we have a satellite cell phone that customers can use in common to send and receive message using whatsapp.
It is mandatory to wear long pants, tennis socks or boots for the hiking tour and overnight in the jungle; without these clothes the client does not do this programming.
Amazon Tupana
Distant 180 km south of Manaus, in the biological reserve of Rio Tupana, an ecological paradise, an area rich in fauna and flora, where we can find a huge variety of species of aquatic birds, mammals and reptiles . Remembering that you are visiting the jungle and not a zoo. Seeing animals is not guaranteed, but there is a chance.
The journey to the hotel begins with an adventure through the meeting of the waters of the Negro and Solimões rivers, the two largest rivers in the Amazon, which together form the grandiose Amazon River, followed by the 178-kilometer road BR 319 which connects with the famous Transamazônica highway (road that connected the state of Amazonas to the rest of the country, today it is partially deactivated).
During the journey to the Amazon Tupana Lodge we will observe the Victoria Regia and birds (at certain times of the year), in a region of farms along the road with the jungle in the background.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, long pants, shorts, socks, sandals, sneakers or boots suitable for hiking in the jungle, bathing suit, sunscreen, flashlight, binoculars , repellent, sunglasses, hat or cap and raincoat.
Baggage allowance: 15 kg per person.
Power: Electric power is 110V, obtained through a diesel generator at the following times: from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 7:30.

Transport
Transport includes vans and speedboats, with all safety and comfort conditions, and is carried out as follows:
PART 1: 07:00h departure from hotel in Manaus to Porto do Ceasa (20 to 30 minutes)
PART 2: Departure from Porto do Ceasa to Vila do Careiro by speedboat via Encontro das Águas (30 min)
PART 3: Vila do Careiro to the Tupana River with a break to observe the Vitória Régias (2:30h, Highway BR319 - vehicle with air conditioning is not guaranteed).
PART 4: Rio Tupana to Amazon Tupana Lodge by motorized canoe (20 minutes).
Packages
Tucano (3 days and 2 nights)
1st day
At 07:00h, departure from the hotel in Manaus, transfer to the lodge passing by the meeting of the waters of Rio Negro and Solimões (stop for explanation and photos).
At 11:30 am arrival at Amazon Tupana Lodge, welcome drink and accommodation. Lunch.
Departure in motorized canoe to explore the region.
After dinner, tour in a motorized canoe to observe nocturnal animals, nocturnal spotting.
2nd day
Breakfast. Departure for a walk in the forest accompanied by a specialized guide, where we will be able to see all the beauty and feel the energy of the Amazon forest.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Then, Tour in a motorized canoe for fishing for typical fish in the region and the famous piranhas.
During navigation back to the lodge, observation of the Amazonian sunset. To have lunch. Overnight stay.
3rd day
5:30 sunrise canoe ride for bird watching and with luck the legendary pink dolphins. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Departure in a motorized canoe to visit the natives' houses, where we can learn a little about their culture and customs. Lunch.
At 13:30h check-out and departure to Manaus with arrival scheduled for 17:00h.
Cigana (4 days and 3 nights)
1st day
Same as the 1st day of the 3 days/2 nights package.
2nd day
Same as the 2nd day of the 3 days/2 nights package.
3rd day
5:30 sunrise canoe ride for birdwatching and hopefully the legendary pink dolphins. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Tour in a motorized canoe to visit the natives' houses, where we can learn a little about their culture and customs. Lunch.
Departure for overnight in the forest. During the walk to the camp site, theoretical survival instructions will be given (x: how to get water, food,
first aid, etc.). Overnight will be done in hammocks with mosquito netting.
4th day
Walk back to the lodge. Breakfast. Departure in a rowing canoe, as the riverside people do, for contemplation of nature between the igapós (flooded forest, only during the flood season) and the igarapés. Return to the lodge. Lunch. At 1:30 pm check out and departure to Manaus with arrival scheduled for 5:00 pm.
Papagaio (5 days and 4 nights)
1st day
Same as the 1st day of the 3 days/2 nights package.

3rd day

4th day
Walk back to the lodge. Breakfast. Departure in a rowing canoe, as the riverside people do, for contemplation of nature between the igapós (flooded forest, only during the flood season) and the igarapés. Lunch at the lodge. Practical classes and crafts with straw and palm trees. Dinner.
5th day
Breakfast. Free morning for kayaking and river bathing. Lunch. At 1:30 pm check out and departure to Manaus with arrival scheduled for 5:00 pm.
