The Manakin is a 20-meter riverboat designed for intimate journeys through the Amazon. It has two double-bed cabins and two modular cabins for up to four guests each (twin beds, a double bed or bunk beds), for a total of up to 12 guests. The panoramic suite has been redesigned with elegant finishes, natural textures and views of the forest and the river, in harmony between rustic charm and modern comfort.

Manakin Itineraries

4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS
Day 1 - Manaus > Embarkation > Rio Negro > Meeting of the Waters > Indigenous Community
Hotel pick-up between 8 and 9 am and speedboat transfer. Welcome brunch at the Meeting of the Waters, embarkation on the Rio Negro and visit to a local Indigenous community.
Day 2 - Anavilhanas National Park > Cuieiras River
Navigation through the Anavilhanas Archipelago, guided jungle walk, wildlife watching by canoe or motorboat and optional night excursion.
Day 3 - Acajatuba Lake
Visit to a riverside village, bike ride along forest trails and canoeing to observe the lake’s wildlife and plants.
Day 4 - Ariaú River > Manaus
Guided photography tour, lunch on board while returning to Manaus and transfer to the airport.
5 DAYS/4 NIGHTS
Day 1 - Manaus > Embarkation > Meeting of the Waters
Welcome cocktail and lunch on board. Visit to the Rubber Plantation Museum (Museu do Seringal) and a local Indigenous community.

Manakin
What’s included?
Shared transfers from the hotel to the boat on the first day and from the boat to the airport on the last day, full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), wine, beer, juices and soft drinks, bilingual naturalist guides (Portuguese and English), all excursions and activities in the itinerary, and internet access.
What’s not included?
Travel insurance, medical expenses and emergency evacuation, personal expenses, gratuities and purchases.
Transfers
Embarkation: pick-up at Manaus hotels from 8:00 am (transfers are completed between 8:00 and 9:00 am). Disembarkation: arrival in Manaus at around 2:00 pm. We recommend return flights departing at 5:00 pm or later. Transfers outside these times are charged separately.
Sustainability
Complimentary mineral water at the boat’s water station for refilling bottles and canteens. To reduce plastic waste, bottled water in plastic containers is not provided.
