AMAZON ECO LODGE
The Amazon Eco Lodge is a family-owned jungle hotel with 790 hectares of preserved jungle. The first floating jungle hotel built in the State of Amazonas. Done on giant tree trunks; the Amazon eco lodge is kind of a watercraft.
Located 80km from Manaus in a straight line, 3 hours drive from the city of Manaus to the Amazon Eco Lodge. For more than 38 years, Amazon Eco Lodge has been offering Packages of excursions and tours for the knowledge of the fauna and flora of the Amazon region.
Whose goal is to provide visitors, from well-crafted scripts led by expert guides, to a fantastic life experience, introducing them to the culture of the native Amazonian people.

Additional Information
ATTENTION:
- No guarantee of air conditioning in any of the transport vehicles.
- Main luggage can be stored in the office luggage storage room in Manaus. For comfort and safety, only bags till 5 Kg are allowed.
- Because of the acidity of waters, mosquitoes and virus, which cause dengue, cholera, malaria, yellow fever etc., do not proliferate in the area.
- It is possible to swim in the river around the lodge.
- Radios are strictly forbidden, only individual sound devices are allowed.
- Transfers and tours are on regular basis. They are subject to change and/or cancel without previous notice, depending on local rainforest weather.
Children up to 12 years old have a 20% discount in the same room as their parents.
The tours are conducted with native guides. Caboclos born and raised in the region and who learned English on their own, interacting with visitors from various countries.
WHAT TO BRING: Light cotton clothing, long sleeved shirts, a light raincoat, T-shirts, hat, shoes / hiking boots, socks, trousers & shorts, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, flashlight and repellent bug. Binoculars, books, camera & film, personal medicine, sweatshirt or sweater. For personal safety and comfort, the maximum weight of luggage is 5 kg per person. The main luggage can be stored in the Amazon Eco Lodge office in Manaus.
Lodge
The Amazon Eco Lodge is located 80km from Manaus, on the south bank of the Amazon River, on the Mamori River system, upstream of the Juma River.
Structure
At Amazon Eco Lodge, there is a reception area together with a bar, with comfortable chairs and hammocks to relax before and after excursions.
The restaurant has a typical, rustic architecture and the cuisine is delicious, based on regional fish, poultry, meat and fruits from the Amazon region.
The Amazon Eco Lodge is an authentic forest hotel. We have electricity generated by photovoltaic panels all day long and Wi-Fi that is susceptible to bad weather.
We use fans in the apartments because the climate is very pleasant.
Accommodation in 18 apartments, all with private bathrooms.

Rainforest Jungle Safari (6 days and 5 nights with 2 overnight, sleeping in hammocks at river hut)
1st day
Reception at the airport or at your hotel in Manaus around 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM and transfer to the Amazon Eco Lodge.
5:00 PM - Arrival at Amazon Eco Lodge.
7:00 PM - Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2nd. day
7:00 AM- Regional Breakfast (until 8:00 AM).
9:00 AM - Recognition of the Amazon Forest. An entire morning walking through it with our guide, where he will talk and show you what is interesting about fauna and flora, and show how native people use medicinal plants to cure some types of diseases.
11:30 AM - Return to the lodge. 12:00 PM - Lunch.
2:00 PM - Departure by motorized canoe to get a chance to see wild animals such as monkeys, laziness, parrots, macaws, herons, kingfishers, cormorants, ospreys, gray boto, pink boto and several others. Maybe you can see all the animals we mentioned or not. We have a 337-hectare tropical rain forest intact and protected.
5:00 PM - Return to the lodge. 7:00 PM - Dinner.
8:30 PM - Night tour for fauna observation.
3rd day, 4th and 5th. days
7:00 AM - Regional breakfast.
9:00 AM - Departure for the Survival.
a) Activities will be held with our native Amazon guides who were born, grew up and learned to speak the English language through effort and dedication of their own after years of working with Amazon Eco Lodge.
b) In the 3 days in the forest we will use survival techniques, with instructions from our guides. We will fish along the streams, walk in the forest and watch the monkeys, birds and other animals.
c) We will have to eat the fish that was caught during the day, learn about local flora and fauna, about native medicines. Everything next to the river.
d) The nocturnal rest will be in the forest itself, where everyone will sleep in nets protected with mosquito nets in a typical house called "tapiri", built of wood and straw.
e) On the 5th day, in the afternoon, return to the Lodge for the welcome cocktail and after dinner will be served.
6th. day

8:00 AM - Return to Manaus with transfer to the Airport or Hotel.

7:00 AM - Return to Amazon Eco Lodge for Regional Breakfast.
9:00 AM - Departure of motorized canoe to visit the Amazon native family, to see and understand how they live and how their customs are. The natives live around the river, survive from what they plant, hunt and fish. Our guests will visit cassava, banana, pineapple, cupuaçu and other Amazonian plant species, and will stay in the native family's house throughout the morning, and guests can have lunch before returning to the lodge.
11:30 AM - Return to the lodge. 12:00 - Lunch.
3:00 PM - Departure of motorized canoe. Our guide will take our guests to Piranha fishing. We also have several other species of fish such as tucunare, pirarucu and tambaqui.
5:00 PM - Return to the lodge. 7:00 PM - Dinner.
4th. day
7:00 AM- Regional Breakfast.
9:00 AM - Visit to the riverside community and its school. Know and know a little about the culture of this people.
11:00 AM - Return to the lodge. 12:00 PM - Lunch.
2:40 PM - Departure from canoe to oar. An incredible experience paddling amongst the trees in a place called Igapó.
5:00 PM - Return to the lodge. 7:00 PM - Dinner.
5th. day
